That's all for today. Just remember to do your ABCs first when dealing with potential CPR patients. That's Airway, Breathing and Circulation. First check to see if their tongue or some food is blocking the airway. If so, then remove the food or adjust their head to move their tongue. Once you've established a clear airway, check their breathing. If they're not breathing, then you will have to breathe into their lungs to provide some oxygen. Last, check their circulation by feeling their pulse. This is a rough indication of whether their heart is still pumping. These are all necessary, important assessments to complete BEFORE beginning any resuscitation techniques or CPR.

也就是指Airway(氣管),Breathing(呼吸),及Circulation(血液循環)。

We'd like to end our nightly news with our "On the Brighter Side" report. This evening's feature is a group of elementary students who participated in an "Adopt-a-Grandparent Day." For kids without grandparents and old folks looking for a little bit of company, the annual event was a huge success at Wilson Elementary School. Organized by their school's volunteer service, over 100 children were paired up with residents of the Glory Day Care Home. Participants are seen here enjoying storytelling, a barbecue picnic and the highlighted "Old and New Fashion Show" with grandparent and grandkid models. Medical experts say increased activity and socializing help slow down physical and mental deterioration associated with aging. But ask any of this year's participants and they'll say it's all about the fun.

This is your new IT lab and I'm the technical director, Ms. I'll show you around first, then I'll get you started with logging in to your e-mail Let's start with the individual stations. You'll notice that each computer is a G4 with a 60 gigabyte hard drive and 256 megabytes of RAM. They come with a wide-screen monitor and a DVD/CD drive. For floppy disks, use the computers in the back. And for printing and scanning, each station is networked to one of the machines at the front of the room. Now, to log in to your accounts, use your student ID as your temporary password, then change it once you've logged in.
